The landmark
The Ancillotti Oil Mill is pleased to open its doors and make the history of oil and the land accessible through events, tastings, guided tours and themed dinners. This convivial value is part of the identity of the company, where in the past it was not uncommon for processing to continue into the long winter nights and for farmers to linger in the mill in the warmth of the fire with food, wine, stories and chats.
The stone millstones tell of a centuries-old tradition that links the history of oil and the Frantoio to that of the families of Cretan people, the small producers and all those who went out to ‘make olives’. Come to the Frantoio, you are welcome!

For Families and Companies
Dinner at the Oil Mill
‘La Cena al Frantoio’ is an evening dedicated to good food, good Cerretese wine and above all good local olive oil, usually held in the summer.
The evening will feature a rich menu prepared in our kitchens using strictly local products, wines from our client companies, and our unfailing oil. An event dedicated to relaxation, light-heartedness, and regional cuisine where the Olio del Frantoio is definitely the star! Each evening is planned for a maximum of 30 people, subject to prior booking.
Aperitif-Dinner
Aperitif-Dinner with guided tour generally held on Friday evenings in the period from 10/10 to 10/12, during the pressing. This event is particularly popular with the public because it takes place while the mill is producing oil.
The evening will feature a rich buffet with local products, regional cuisine, wine from our client companies and our ever-present oil. This will be followed by a guided tour of the history of the oil mill and the extraction process to be observed first-hand. Each evening is for a maximum of 30 people, subject to prior booking.
For families and groups
Medicean Rings Trekking
Inclusion of the oil mill as a refreshment stop with guided tour within the MEDIUM RINGS trekking programme.
6 days a year, with opening to the public 4 hours at the appropriate time for the excursion and organisation of introductory courses on oil, wine, and the cultivation of olive trees and vines typical of the local tradition.

A guided tour on the history of the business and the extraction process with a tasting of our oils and hints at the different flavours and aromas. Each of our guests will also be served a board with bruschetta, sliced meats and Tuscan cheeses to best appreciate the combination with the oil.
This event is dedicated to a minimum of 6 participants and a maximum of 12, subject to prior booking. Any special requests can be arranged by contacting us directly.
For Schools
Guided Toursof the Oil Mill
The oil mill is the ideal place to introduce children to the world of oil. The guided tour is therefore an important tool to give children some simple information on the fruit, the olive trees and the pressing process, starting with direct observation of the processing and the ancient stone mills.
A safe and fun educational proposal, perfect for schools of all levels, in collaboration with our master millers.
